2003-2004
In the early 1900's, Parisian composers began to break away from the imposing musical figures of Wagner and Debussy and embrace the new sounds of jazz and vaudeville. Searching for a French aesthetic, one that would espouse simplicity and purity of expression, six young composers began
an association which would redefine french music in the 20th century.
