Praised for "combining the bloom of youth with the stylishness and poise of maturity," Deborah Rentz-Moore enjoys an active solo career in opera, oratorio, early chamber music and American music. Singing and recording with the Boston Camerata, Ms. Rentz-Moore has also been a featured soloist in the past three opera productions of the Boston Early Music Festival as well as at the 2002 Connecticut Early Music Festival, singing the role of Diana in Duron's opera, El Salir del Amor. In addition to her solo performances with American ensembles such as the Handel & Haydn Society, New York Collegium and Emmanuel Music, Ms. Rentz-Moore has premiered new works by composers Thomas Oboe Lee and Roger Rudenstein. Recent concert highlights include Handel's Dixit Dominus and Vivaldi' s Gloria with the Handel & Haydn Society, a recital of French, German & English baroque music with the ensemble Très and Schütz's "Verleih uns Frieden" with Emmanuel Music. Recent opera appearances include the role of Duchesse/Catherine in the world premiere of Rudenstein's Grace, and the role of Speranza in Monteverdi's Orfeo with Aston Magna. Recordings include 17 th century convent music of C.M. Cozzolani with Magnificat (on Musica Omnia), The Golden Harvest (Shaker music on Glissando), a recording of renaissance Christmas music with the Handel & Haydn Society (on Musica Omnia) and the recently released "The Music of Peace" CD, also with the Handel & Haydn Society (Atlantic Records).
