Aaron Caplan has performed in recitals across the United States and Italy and Spain. He has won scholarships for study from the D'Addario Foundation and the fraternity MOE. Mr. Caplan has performed for National Public Radio and KMUN Radio Astoria, OR. He has premiered works by Lior Navok, Daniel Pinkham, and Edward Mascari. As a chamber musician he has worked with choirs, string quartets and wind instruments.
Aaron Caplan is the newest and youngest solo artist of the 2002-2003 Young Audiences of Massachusetts roster. A passionate advocate for the arts in education, He was one of a select group of students an award of recognition from his residency program at the Holland Elementary School in Dorchester; he worked closely with New England Conservatory educational faculty on arts in education residency programs, and performance education; and he has organized community concerts around greater Boston.
Mr. Caplan is a graduate of the New England Conservatory in Boston where he studied with Eliot Fisk and David Leisner. He continues his studies with Dima Goryachev.
