Susan Consoli, soprano

Susan Consoli, sopranoSoprano Susan Consoli enjoys an active career in oratorio, opera and recital.  She works under such notable directors as Grant Llewellyn, Laurence Cummings, Bruno Weil, John Harbison, James David Christie, John Finney and Tom Hall.  She made her European debut throughout Germany in 2006 with Boston Camerata in collaboration with the Tero Saarinen Dance Company in performances of Borrowed Light.

Upcoming performances include: Borrowed Light performances in Perth Australia, Wellington New Zealand & Paris France, Zipoli San Ignacio de Loyola in San Francisco, Santa Clara and Los Angeles with Ensemble Abendmusik performing Mensajero, Mendelssohn Vom Himmel Hoch with Manchester Choral Society, Handel Messiah with NH Master Chorale, soprano, trumpet & organ recitals with King’s Chapel as well as various recitals and masterclasses in the New England region and California. In addition, Ms. Consoli performs regularly with Emmanuel Music’s famed Bach Cantata series under founding director Craig Smith.

This summer, Ms. Consoli will be returning for her fifth season as soloist with the Carmel Bach Festival.  Susan can be heard on the Handel & Haydn Society recording of All is Bright for Avie Records.  Ms. Consoli is a member of the performance faculty at Phillips Andover and Phillips Exeter Academy.

This recital marks Ms. Consoli‚s debut with Florestan Recital Project.
